One of the privileges of owning your own business is using your business as a platform to support the initiatives close to your heart (if you so choose). Finding a cure and supporting the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes is incredibly important to me and my wife, who is T1D, and so a percentage of book sales from the books listed on this page will be donated to JDRF each year. In 2018, my wife (a Type 1 Diabetic) and I joined forces as #TeamJetlagged and together raised $11,000 for JDRF as part of the Ride to Cure Diabetes fundraiser bike ride in Death Valley, CA. While we are taking a break from participating in the bike ride, we are continuing to raise money for JDRF and the life-saving research this organization is conducting.
