River Dog Book Co., LLC is open online NOW, will be a bookmobile in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in spring 2019, and will hopefully be a brick-and-mortar storefront within a few years.

River Dog Book Co. Mission: To create community and foster cross-cultural communication and understanding via access to literature and literacy-related events.

BrocheAroe Fabian (“bruh-kuh” for short) is an Anthropologist, a world traveler, a writer, and a twelve-year veteran of the book industry. After working for 1 museum library, 1 corporate bookstore, 2 publishers, and 4 independent bookstores, she finally has her own shop!

Currently, Broche sits on the American Booksellers Association Diversity Task Force and the Indie Bookseller Council for Small Press Distribution and the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses, is a co-moderator of the Publishers Weekly BXsellers Facebook Group, is a book reviewer for Shelf Awareness, and acts as a sensitivity reader for authors and publishers. She has an MFA in Writing Literature for Children and has taught English Literature, Creative Writing, and ESL/ELL classes.

River Dog Book Co. is an active supporter of human rights, and welcomes book friends of all kinds, regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and citizenship status.
