- A little indie bookstore with a big personality. -
River Dog Book Co. is a full-service independent bookstore selling new, used, audio, and e-books online, holding virtual events and pop-up shops, and working on growing as a sustainable, novel model bookstore focused on highlighting diverse, global, inclusive, and representative books.
River Dog Book Co. Mission: To create community and foster cross-cultural communication and understanding via access to literature and literacy-related events.
As a location-independent, independent bookstore, we've criss-crossed the country. We opened in North Carolina, moved to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, landed in Portland, Oregon, and now have moved back to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin (about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee), serving our River Dog Readers both near and far.
